Jan 1st Sunday -Rays, Mrs. Myers and Don came to see the baby. I baked bread and a pie.

Oct 24th Tuesday - Bill Galloway came. Gib got 16 pullets from him. Put heater up. I canned tomatoes.
Oct 25th Wednesday - I made Ted's overalls. Allen sick.
Oct 26th Thursday - I baked, cleaned two ducks and dampened clothes. Men hauled boards from Sharps.
Oct 27th Friday - Gib watered horses on Sharps and plowed in the big dam.
Oct 28th Saturday - The men worked on the dam.
Oct 29th Sunday - I boiled chicken, made a cake, and washed Ted's clothes. Harold and Vernon came.
Oct 30th Monday - The men worked on dam all day. Papa and Uncle Will came for heifer. I baked.
Oct 31st Tuesday - Ray went hunting. Mildred came over. The men worked on the dam. I washed and watered the horses. Mrs. Myers stopped.
NOVEMBER 1939
Nov 1st Wednesday - Vernon brought car over for Gib to fix. I patched and ironed shirts.
Nov 2nd Thursday - Went to Roy in PM and had the boys vaccinated for diphtheria.
Nov 3rd Friday - Gib worked on Vernon's car all day. Vernon, Harold, Swan and Gus here for supper.
Nov 4th Saturday - I ironed in PM. Carl here for dinner. The men hauled straw.
Nov 5th Sunday - I went to Clark's with Rays. Connellys brought their car over.
Nov 6th Monday - I washed and churned. Gib worked on Connelly' s car. Nick, Mike, Bill G and Vernon and Harold stopped. Gus went to Galloway's.
Nov 7th Tuesday -
Nov 8th Wednesday - Gib hauled straw. I baked.
Nov 9th Thursday - Went to Roy for vaccinations. I went to see Mrs. Puckett.
Nov 10th Friday - Went to Lewistown at noon. Went to Uncle Will's at night.
Nov 11th Saturday - Came home from town.
Nov 12th Sunday - Ray went hunting. Mildred stayed here. Kosir's came for water.
Nov 13th Monday - I washed. Gib worked on car. Gene went to stay with Mildred.
Nov 14th Tuesday - Ted sick with a cold. Gib worked on car. I sewed a little. Teacher stopped.
Nov 15th Wednesday - Gib worked on car. Took me to Rays. I made a shirt and rompers. Ray came home.
Nov 16th Thursday - I canned tomatoes and washed Ted's clothes. Gib went to help Galloway's with roofs. Joe Kalina came to measure wheat.
Nov 17th Friday - Gene and Richard sick. Gib finished car. I mopped and sewed.
Nov 18th Saturday - I ironed. Sam got his car.
Nov 19th Sunday -
Nov 20th Monday - I washed. Gib worked on dam.
Nov 21st Tuesday - Gib worked on dam. Got winter wheat from Ray.
Nov 22nd Wednesday - Finished my dress, dressed a chicken and make a cake and a pie.
Nov 23rd Thursday - We went to school house for Thanksgiving dinner.
Nov 24th Friday - Gib sewed wheat on Sharps. I sewed and ironed.
Nov 25th Saturday - Allen got new shoes. Gib finished wheat. I baked and cleaned house.
Nov 26th Sunday - Gene sick. I finished Allen's shirt, patched and baked a cake.
Nov 27th Monday - Gib worked on dam. I washed. Gene and Richard missed school. Mildred came. Richard stayed all night with Mildred.
Nov 28th Tuesday - Gib worked on dam. Ray and Carl came. I washed all the windows.
Nov 29th Wednesday - Gib worked on dam. I sewed.
Nov 30th Thursday - I canned seven quarts of carrots and baked bread. Gib worked on dam. Rays went to Lewistown.
DECEMBER 1939
Dec 1st Friday - Gib worked on the dam. I ironed and darned sox.
Dec 2nd Saturday - Gib hauled machinery around, dumped junk. I cleaned house.
Dec 3rd Sunday - Rays came. Galloways came. I cut Gib's hair, baked a cake and patched.
Dec 4th Monday - Mildred went to Lewistown with us.
Dec 5th Tuesday - I washed. Gib went to Mikes and Swan's. Rays came.
Dec 6th Wednesday - I baked, mopped and cut out dress. Gib rode over to see cattle.
Dec 7th Thursday - Rays came. Gib worked on dam.
Dec 8th - I ironed. Gib worked on dam. Ray took Mildred to Lewistown.
Dec 9th Saturday - I cleaned house and finished ironing. Gib fixed muffler on car. Gib brought Ruby home.
Dec 10th Sunday - I baked and patched overalls.
Dec 11th Monday - I washed. Gib went to Jerrys and Mikes. Teacher stopped.
Dec 12th Tuesday - I mopped floor and made candy. Gib started to fix eaves.
Dec 13th Wednesday - Gib helped Swan. I made candy, washed and sewed. Ray got water.
Dec 14th Thursday - I sewed. Gib helped Swan. Ray came.
Dec 15th Friday- We went to Lewistown and brought Mildred home.
Dec 16th Saturday -Gib worked on dam. Boys trimmed Christmas tree.
Dec 17th Sunday - Gib vaccinated calves. I darned sox and wrapped packages.
Dec 18th Monday - Rays came. Gib fixed fence. I washed clothes and sewed.
Dec 19th Tuesday - I washed. Gib took heifer to pasture.
Dec 20th Wednesday - Hung out clothes, made candy, and baked bread. Gib killed turkey.
