Jan 1st Thursday -Went to Galloway's for New Years Picnic. Was a nice day, but cool.

Jan 12th Monday -Uncle Will's came and were here for supper.
Jan 13th Tuesday - Gib and I both were feeling bum.
Jan 14th Wednesday- Gib sick with cold.
Jan 15th Thursday -Ray's came and helped butcher and were here for dinner. Mike came.
Jan 16th Friday -I washed. Gib was sick with cold.
Jan 17th Saturday -Cleaned house. Gib went to Mike's.
Jan 18th Sunday - The folks and Jerry came. Gene got sick. I baked cookies.
Jan 19th Monday -Gib went to town. Mike came. Gene feels worse.
Jan 20th Tuesday -Gene is sick and cross. Gib helped with the work.
Jan 21st Wednesday- Gene got awfully sick. Gib went after Mama. Papa came over.
Jan 22nd Thursday - The folks went home this morning and came back in evening a few minutes. Ray's came.
Jan 23rd Friday - Gene got worse again, so Gib got Mama again. Puckett's, Myers's and Ray's all came.
Jan 24th Saturday -Gene is some better. Mike and Ray came. Mama ironed.
Jan 25th Sunday -Puckett's, Papa, Brother, Uncle Will's, Mike and Ray's came. Mama went home.
Jan 26th Monday - Gib and Ray went to Lewistown. Mildred stayed here.
Jan 27th Tuesday -I washed. Gib worked on dresser and got water. Gib got drinking water and mail.
Jan 28th Wednesday -I baked and ironed. Gib painted dresser. Went to Jerry's in evening.
Jan 29th Thursday -I ironed and sewed. Jerry came.
Jan 30th Friday- Jennings came for 10 dozen eggs. Gib went to Peterson's. Mike got straw.
Jan 31st Saturday - Gib went to Lewistown with Mike. Jennings got three dozen eggs. Alice came for milk. I cleaned house and shined the stove.
February 1931
Feb 1st Sunday - We drove to Brownlee's. (Not home) The folks and Ed H. came.
Feb 2nd Monday - We went to Roy and had supper with the folks. Then went to see Herb and Thelma.
Feb 3rd Tuesday - Gib helped Ray butcher.
Feb 4th Wednesday - We did a big washing. Went to Brownlee's in evening and got basket.
Feb 5th Thursday -We brought dresser in. Got telegram. Ray's came.
Feb 6th Friday -Gib cleaned shack. I ironed. Ray went to town.
Feb 7th Saturday - Gib went to Mike's and Ray's. Ray came for mail. Cleaned house. Johnny came to shoe his horse.
Feb 8th Sunday -Alton brought telegram. Papa and Brother came. Gib and Swan went to town. Gib and Ray left for Hayfield. (This was when Gib's younger brother Arnold was killed in Car accident)
Feb 9th Monday - Mike came to water horses. Mildred went home to do chores. I washed. I took mail sack over. The folks came.
Feb 10th Tuesday - Mike came. I took bacon out of salt. Mildred got mail and did chores. Mrs. Puckett and Mrs. Jennings came.
Feb 11th Wednesday - Mike watered horses. I cleaned house. Mildred washed windows.
Feb 12th Thursday-The folks, Neills, and Pucketts came on way to Aid. Johnny brought coyote. The folks brought mail and so did Mike.
Feb 13th Friday - Mike skinned coyote and watered horses. Mrs. Jennings brought mail. Got cards from Gib and Ray.
Feb 14th Saturday - Cleaned house and baked cookies. Mike brought some water. Alice got milk. Gene was sick. Pucketts stopped on way home. Carl Gautier came.
Feb 15th Sunday - Mike watered horses. The folks came. Jerry came.
Feb 16th Monday - Gene was sick with teething.
Feb 17th Tuesday -We washed and baked. Mrs. Puckett and Mrs. Jennings came. Mike brought meat for chickens.
Feb 18th Wednesday - We ironed. The folks came.
Feb 19th Thursday - Mike watered horses and hauled water. I made rompers. Mildred baked a cake.
Feb 20th Friday - We cleaned house. Harold, Alton, and Uncle Will stopped on way from town. Did chores.
Feb 21st Saturday - The boys (Ray and Gib) got home this morning. Mike came. Mrs. Jennings and Polly came.
Feb 22nd Sunday - The folks stopped on the way to Roy. Harold Bauman and Johnny came.
Feb 23rd Monday -Gib and Ray butchered.
Feb 24th Tuesday - We went to town. Sold forty five dozen eggs. Gib watered horses. I baked bread. Gib cut meat up. Jennings got 15 dozen eggs.
Feb 25th Wednesday - Gib and Ray cleaned wheat. Gib went to Mike's.

March 4th Wednesday - I baked bread, cookies and sewed.
March 5th Thursday - Gib went to town. I sewed.
March 6th Friday - Gib worked on car. I washed. Jerry came. I ironed some.
March 7th Saturday - Cleaned house. Mrs. Jennings and Harold got four dozen eggs. Gib oiled harness.
March 8th Sunday -Pucketts stopped on way from Sunday School. Mrs. Kalal was here for supper.
March 9th Monday-Gib went to Lewistown with Jerry. Papa came.
March 10th Tuesday - Gib got the horses in.
March 11th Wednesday -Took horses back to pasture because it stormed last night.
March 12th Thursday - We went to Ladies Aid at Viola's. Had supper at Uncle Will's.
March 13th Friday - I washed. Mike came to fix radiator. George Casteel was here for dinner. Went to party at school house.
March 14th Saturday - Cleaned house. Ironed. Went to Legion Meeting in Roy.
March 15th Sunday - Went to Sunday School. Had dinner at Mama's. Ray's, Herb and Thelma, Gilbert, Alice were here.
March 16th Monday - We washed. Gib took bacon out of salt. Got water. Ray's came. Set four red hens.
March 17th Tuesday -Gib harrowed on Ackerly's. I ironed.
March 18th Wednesday - rained. Gib sowed wheat near south road. I ironed. Jerry and Mike came. Set one red hen.
March 19th Thursday - Gib went to town. Sowed wheat in afternoon. Mrs. Jennings came. We went to Puckett's.
March 20th Friday - I baked a cake. Gib sowed wheat on north side. Washed windows. Patched. Mildred came on horse.
March 21st Saturday - I cleaned house. Ray's stopped with mail. Jerry came. We went to Grace's party at Jennings.
March 22nd Sunday - We went to Sunday School and had dinner at the folks.
March 23rd Monday - Johnny came to fan wheat.
March 24th Tuesday -We cleaned the stove. I did a big washing. Gib harrowed on Ackerlys.
March 25th Wednesday -I ironed all day. Had a blizzard so Gib couldn't work outside.
March 26th Thursday - clearing again. 15 below zero. Last night I roasted a hen and baked bread. Gib went to town. Jerry came.
March 27th Friday -I made rompers. Gib rode over to Mike's.
March 28th Saturday - I cleaned house and got things ready for Sunday.
March 29th Sunday - We went to Sunday School. Had dinner at Mama's. Uncle Will and Gus came up and we sang.
March 30th Monday - Mrs. Jennings and Mrs. Puckett came. Got four dozen eggs. I sewed on rompers and dress. Frank Peterson came. Gib cleaned oats. I set out plants. Gib went to Peterson's for water and to Mike's in evening.
March 31st Tuesday - We got drill. Donald stopped for books. Gib harrowed thistles. We left Gene with Mama and went to church to practice with Donald and Vernon.
APRIL 1931
April 1st Wednesday - Gib harrowed and sowed Wheat.
April 2nd Thursday - Snow tonight. Gib went to Ed's for barley. I made Gib a birthday cake.
April 3rd Friday - I washed and cleaned house. Papa and Uncle Will stopped on way to town on Saturday. Ray came.
April 4th Saturday -We put up Gene's swing. I ironed. We went to dance at Valentine. Left Gene with Mama.
April 5th Sunday - We went to Sunday School. Practiced Easter play. Had dinner at Mama's and went to church in evening.
April 6th Monday - 59 Chicks hatched. Gib sowed wheat and went to town in afternoon about 5 o'clock. Jerry came for a little while.
April 7th Tuesday - 38 chicks. Gib sowed wheat. I sewed. Myers's came for evening. Terrible dust storm.
April 8th Wednesday - 22 more chicks. Dust still blowing. Ray's came in evening.
April 9th Thursday - set five hens. Dusty nearly all day. Mrs. Jennings came and took me to Aid at Opal's. I cleaned house in morning.
April 10th Friday - I did big washing. Gib harrowed. We went to Roy to see operetta. I baked. Gib sick with cold.
April 11th Saturday-I cleaned house and did lots of baking. Gib sowed wheat on Ackerlys and went to Mike's. I was sick with cold.
April 12th Sunday -Uncle Will's were all here for dinner. Swan came over. Ray's stopped on way to Puckett's.
April 13th Monday - Gib worked the garden. I had a cold.
April 14th Tuesday - Gib finished sowing oats.
April 15th Wednesday - set six hens. Gib sowed wheat all day. I washed. Gene got cold. Gib went to Cliff's. Mike came.
April 16th Thursday - Gib sowed wheat. I made Gene's bonnet. Ray came. I churned.
April 17th Friday - Gib finished wheat. Mike got wheat. We went to town in afternoon.
April 18th Saturday - Gib harrowed garden and clover and planted potatoes. I cleaned house and baked.
April 19th Sunday - Jerry came. My brothers stopped on way to town. I wrote letters.
April 20th Monday - Awfully cold. Gib used spring tooth harrow.
April 21st Tuesday - Gib sowed wheat till 11 o'clock, then it started to snow. Ray's came. Blizzard in evening.
April 22nd Wednesday -Snow nearly gone. We went to Mama's and Gib got eggs from Opal's. George Casteel came.
April 23rd Thursday - 1 hen hatching 4 chicks. Gib harrowed and finished sowing wheat. I washed.
April 24th Friday - Gib harrowed. I washed windows, curtains and ironed.
April 25th Saturday - Cleaned house and baked. Janol salesman came. Gib finished wheat.
April 26th Sunday -Gib, Alice, and Rossiters were here for supper.
April 27th Monday - Planted a little garden. Uncle Will's came. Ray's came.
April 28th Tuesday - Mrs. K. fanned wheat. Mrs. Jennings got 11 dozen eggs. I washed and ironed. Gib spring toothed and harrowed. Ray's came.
April 29th Wednesday - Gib went to Ackerlys to fix fence. I planted garden - onions. Mike came.
April 30th Thursday -31 chicks. Gib plowed and harrowed garden.

June 15th Monday-106 degrees-noon. Gib plowed. Ray Marsh was here for dinner. Herb & Cliff came. We went to town. Got hair cut.
June 16th Tuesday - 110 degrees - 11 o'clock. Gib took Frank to Lewistown. Home at noon. Gus came. Jerry came. Ray watered horses.
June 17th Wednesday - Strong winds. Gib and Gus hauled rock. I sewed.
June 18th Thursday - cloudy cooler. Gus and Gib finished spring. Ray got water. Mike came.
June 19th Friday - cool. We did a big washing.
June 20th Saturday - Cleaned house and ironed. Gib plowed. Verle came.
June 21st Sunday - Mike came. We went to church. Stopped at folks a few minutes. It rained. We got stuck in mud. Gib went to Peterson's. We went to Myers's and got stuck again.
June 22nd Monday - I washed a few things. Gib hunted horses. Mike got hoof nippers.
June 23rd Tuesday - Gib plowed. The folks came and we sewed.
June 24th Wednesday - It rained last night so Gib went to town this morning. I ironed, scrubbed and washed. Gib plowed. Ray's came.
June 25th Thursday -Gib plowed. I ironed and sewed.
June 26th Friday - I finished my suit and made Gene a cap. Baked a cake.
June 27th Saturday - Gib plowed. I cleaned house. We went to Roy to Legion Convention.
June 28th Sunday - rainy in evening. We were home all day. Ray came for chicken crate.
June 29th Monday - cool. Gib finished plowing. I baked and got ready to go to Lewistown. Ray brought chicken crate back. Jerry came.
June 30th Tuesday - cool, windy. We went to Lewistown. Frank took our chickens up.
JULY 1931
July 1st Wednesday - cool - windy. I washed. Gib worked on car.
July 2nd Thursday - cool. I ironed. Gib worked on car and went to town.
July 3rd Friday - chilly. I cleaned house and baked a cake, cookies and candy for the 4th. Gib fixed fence.
July 4th Saturday - cool. We went to Uncle Will's, had ice cream and picnic lunch.
July 5th Sunday - cold. We went to Church. Had dinner at folks. Gib went to Peterson's and Mikes.
July 6th Monday - cold, showers. Gib went to town to get road outfit ready. I packed his suitcase and patched overalls. Papa brought Bobby over and took bed home. Uncle Will got wheat.
July 7th Tuesday - clearing. I took Gib to Peterson's this morning. He and Frank left for road work. Mildred came.
July 8th Wednesday -warm, Ladies calf, Daisy. Mrs. Myers and Don came. I washed and sewed. Did chores and pulled water.
July 9th Thursday - hot. Did chores, pulled 99 gallons of water in 20 minutes. Uncle Will's stopped. The folks came and we went to Ladies Aid at Puckett's.
July 10th Friday - hot. Ray's came for water. We washed windows and cleaned house. I took Easter (the cow) to Mike's in evening.
July 11th Saturday - warm, cloudy. Bobby went home after dinner. I washed windows inside. Gib came home about 9 o'clock.
July 12th Sunday - cold, showers. Gib hauled water. I patched and packed his clothes. Bobby came back. I took Gib to Peterson's. Ray's and Kalal's came.
July 13th Monday - thunder showers. We were tired, didn't do much. Ray's stopped on way from town.
July 14t Tuesday - Thunder showers. Mike and Don came. We washed. Johnny came. Jerry came.
July 15th Wednesday - Thunder showers. Johnny came and he and Bobby went hunting. Uncle Will's all came and I cut his hair. Mildred stayed all night.
July 16th Thursday - warm. Tried to fix gas iron. Edward and Frank came.
July 17th Friday - Sultry, 10 chicks. Fixed calf muzzle. Cleaned house, ironed. Lily Kalal came. Gene was sick. Ray got water.
July 18th Saturday-I baked cakes and cooked a chicken. Papa and boys came for Bobby. Gib came home with Myers's. Ray came.
July 19th Sunday - picnic. We went to picnic at Maiden Canyon. Got Nellie
July 20th Monday-hot. Gib left this morning. Came home this evening.
July 21st Tuesday - hot. Gib hauled water. Went to Jerry's.
July 22nd Wednesday - hot. We washed. Mrs. Myers came. The folks came.
July 23rd Thursday - 111 degrees - 2 o'clock. I sewed. Ray got water. We went to Myers's in evening.
July 24th Friday - cooler. Cleaned house.

July 26th Sunday - cooler, shower. The folks and Uncle Will's came. Had ice cream. Set out rose.
July 27th Monday - cloudy. I cleaned shack. Mike cut hay in afternoon.
July 28th Tuesday - cool. We washed. Bobby and Nellie came. Mike cut hay all day. Ray came. Johnny came.
July 29th Wednesday - cool. I sewed. Mike brought groceries. Ray got chicken crate.

AUGUST 1931
Aug 1st Saturday - Cleaned house. I had sore eyes. Gib came home in afternoon.
Aug 2nd Sunday-We took Sister to Ray's. The folks brought Bobby.
Aug 3rd Monday - We washed.
Aug 4th Tuesday -Bobby got butter at Myers's and mail at Ray's. I got clothes ready to iron and fixed iron. Verle got rack.
Aug 5th Wednesday -Mike cut grain. Was here for dinner. Ray came.
Aug 6th Thursday - I ironed all day. Bobby fixed chicken roosts. Johnny Sullivan came.
Aug 7th Friday - Opened & started 25 pounds of sugar. The folks came in morning. I patched and sewed. Ray's came.
Aug 8th Saturday - Cleaned house. Baked bread. Mama and Margaret went to club meeting. Ray got mail. Gib got home at 8:30.
Aug 9th Sunday - Gib got water and did Peterson's chores. Johnny came. Jerry came. The folks came back.
Aug 10th Monday - We washed. Mrs. Myers brought groceries. Ray came.
Aug 11th Tuesday - I ironed, baked bread and baked a cake.
Aug 12th Wednesday - Jerry combined all day. Swan came.
Aug 13th Thursday - Jerry finished tonight. Mildred came to help me. Mrs. Puckett came and took us to Clark's.
Aug 14th Friday-Cleaned house and darned. I was sick with cold.
Aug 15th Saturday - I baked a cake, ironed and fixed Gib's pants. Ray's stopped on way from town. Gib came home.
Aug 16th Sunday-Swan, Mike, and Uncle Will's came. Nellie stayed.
Aug 17th Monday - Alice and R came. Mike came and stacked hay. Bill Galloway and his folks stopped.
Aug 18th Tuesday - We washed. Mike and Don stacked hay and were here for dinner.
Aug 19th Wednesday - Ironed nearly all day. Felt bum.

Aug 21st Friday - I patched and darned all day. Papa and the boys hauled machinery over.
Aug 22nd Saturday -Cleaned house. Mike came George C came. Mrs. Myers brought groceries. Ray came for mail.
Aug 23rd Sunday - Jerry came. Gib hauled water. Ray and Charlie P. came. We got Sister.
Aug 24th Monday - finished 25 pounds of sugar. We washed and baked a cake. Alton came.
Aug 25th Tuesday - We went berry picking with the folks.
Aug 26th Wednesday - Mildred came to sew. Got ironing ready and fixed ironing board.
Aug 27th Thursday - Ironed and scrubbed. Gib came home about 1. Mike came. Ray came. The folks stopped on way home.
Aug 28th Friday - Made jelly, baked bread and patched. Sister went to meeting at Mama's. The men brought the piano.
Aug 29th Saturday - Cleaned house. Mike stacked hay. The folks hauled chicken house. Sister went home. Gib came home.
Aug 30th Sunday - We went to church. Had dinner at Neill's. Had farewell party for the folks.
Aug 31st Monday -Brother brought Mama and Margaret over. We canned berries, ripped coat and pressed it. Patched, sewed and cut hair. Papa and Gus hauled load over and took folks home.
SEPTEMBER 1931
Sept 1st Tuesday - Bobby and I washed clothes.
Sept 2nd Wednesday - Did the ironing. Brother hauled a load and took Bobby home. The folks left for Lewistown in afternoon. The girls came from school. Brought Pat. Gib came home.
Sept 3rd Thursday - The girls were here all day. Gib came home at night.
Sept 4th Friday - Brother came over and took tractor home. The girls went home. The men brought garage.
Sept 5th Saturday - Cleaned house. Gib came home at night.
Sept 6th Sunday - No one came.
Sept 7th Monday - I canned peaches. Mike came.
Sept 8th Tuesday - I sewed. The men came with load.
Sept 9th Wednesday - Gene's birthday. Gib finished work today.
Sept 10th Thursday - The folks came and stayed all night.
Sept 11th Friday - The men left this morning. We did big washing.
Sept 12th Saturday - Cleaned house and washed windows. Made grape jelly.
Sept 13th Sunday - Herb and Thelma came and were here for supper.
Sept 14th Monday - I washed a few things and sewed.
Sept 15th Tuesday- I packed Gene's and my things and some jars and sewed some more. Mildred stayed all night.
Sept 16th Wednesday - We went to Lewistown. Had to fix three tires. Stayed all night with the folks.
Sept 17th Thursday - We went down town. Gib went home in afternoon. I stayed with the folks.
Sept 18th Friday -We canned plums.
Sept 19th Saturday - Finished plums. Cleaned house.
Sept 20th Sunday - Went riding around town. Rained all night.
Sept 21st Monday - Sewed some on my coat. Snowed.
Sept 22nd Tuesday - Went down town. Canned crab apples. Ray's came. Rained.
Sept 23rd Wednesday - Sewed all day. Gib came.
Sept 24th Thursday - Went to look at stove. Gib went home. Vernon and Harold went along. We canned grapes.
Sept 25th Friday - We sewed on my dress and Gene's coat. I went down town.
Sept 26th Saturday - I sewed all day.
Sept 27th Sunday - We all went riding. Gib came. We went to Zion Lutheran Church.
Sept 28th Monday - Gib and I went down town. I packed up and we came home. Went to Neill's in evening.
Sept 29th Tuesday - It rained all day. I unpacked and put things away. Was tired out.
Sept 30th Wednesday -We did big washing. I made jelly and jam. Mike came.
OCTOBER 1931
Oct 1st Thursday - I made plum conserve. Papa and Brother brought stove and were here for dinner.
Oct 2nd Friday - Mike and Gib put stove up and took heater out. I cleaned house. Gib helped Mike stack. Cye came. Verle came. Ray came.
Oct 3rd Saturday - I cleaned bedroom and ironed.
Oct 4th Sunday - We went to Uncle Will's in afternoon
Oct 5th Monday - Gib hauled water. I ironed and patched. Mildred came to sew.
Oct 6th Tuesday - We washed. I started to make a dress. It was cold all day. Gib got butter.
Oct 7th Wednesday -Still cold and cloudy. I sewed all day. Gib took Uncle Will to town.
Oct 8th Thursday -Mike and Mr. McCue came. Gib got horses. Worked on Ackerlys. I baked.
Oct 9th Friday - I cleaned house. Gib harrowed. Ray's came.
Oct 10th Saturday - Gib finished Ackerlys. We went to Aid at Rossiters. The folks were here all night.
Oct 11th Sunday - Jerry came. The folks went to Sunday School. Swan came. Gib got Slim home.
Oct 12th Monday - I washed curtains and Gene's things. Gib harrowed.
Oct 13th Tuesday - I ironed. Gib harrowed. Ray's came and we all went to Mike's and vaccinated calves.
Oct 14th Wednesday - Gib harrowed. We went to Brownlee's.
Oct 15th Thursday-I baked and sewed. Gib harrowed. Mildred came.
Oct 16th Friday - Gib harrowed. I cleaned house. Mike came. Lelek's, Gus and Neills came to practice song.
Oct 17th Saturday - I sewed Gene's coat and ironed. Gib harrowed thistles. Mr. Newman came. Swan brought meat.
Oct 18th Sunday - We went to church. Jerry came.
Oct 19th Monday - Gib and Mike went to timber. Don was here all day. Mrs. Myers brought cows home. Ray's came and did chores. I patched and sewed.
Oct 20th Tuesday -Gib got home this evening about 5:30.
Oct 21st Wednesday - Gene was sick. Gib didn't feel good.
Oct 22nd Thursday - Mildred came and helped with the work. I started Gene's suit.
Oct 23rd Friday - I sewed. Gib branded Pat. Worked in field.
Oct 24th Saturday-Cleaned house. Gib turned some horses on range.
Oct 25th Sunday - Jerry came. I wrote to Mother.
Oct 26th Monday -We did big washing. I ironed some. Swan came.
Oct 27th Tuesday-We canned chickens all day. 15 quarts. Baked bread.
Oct 28th Wednesday - Gib harrowed and I sewed.
Oct 29th Thursday - Gib finished N. piece. I finished Gene's suit. Ray's came in evening. I ironed.
Oct 30th Friday - I made doughnuts and pumpkin pie. Gib helped Mike haul straw. We went to Halloween program.
Oct 31st Saturday - Gib helped Mike. I cleaned house. Lelek's got gas lamp.
NOVEMBER 1931
Nov 1st Sunday - Myers's came in evening.
Nov 2nd Monday - Gib helped Mike haul straw. I cleaned the stove with lye.
Nov 3rd Tuesday - Gib hauled water. We did a big washing. Papa and Brother came. I baked.
Nov 4th Wednesday -Gib harrowed. I sewed.
Nov 5th Thursday - Gib harrowed. I ironed. We went to Puckett's.
Nov 6th Friday - Gib harrowed. I sewed. Uncle Will and Gus came. George Casteel came.
Nov 7th Saturday -Cleaned house. Gib helped Mike haul straw.
Nov 8th Sunday - Gib cut my hair. Jerry came.
Nov 9th Monday - Gib finished on Ackerlys. I washed. Mrs. Peterson came with Janol products.
Nov 10th Tuesday -I ironed. Gib hauled two loads of coal. Gus was here for supper.
Nov 11th Wednesday - I sewed and got ready to go to Lewistown. Gib went to Ray's and Jerry's.
Nov 12th Thursday -Went to Lewistown.
Nov 13th Friday - Came home from town.
Nov 14th Saturday - aid at Galloways. Gene had hives so didn't go to Aid. I cleaned house. Gib worked on chicken house. Ray's were here twice. Uncle Will's stopped. Lelek's came to sing.
Nov 15th Sunday-Uncle Will came for a little while. Baked. Jerry came.
Nov 16th Monday - I baked a cake. Gib covered rhubarb. Mildred came and stayed all night. Ray went to Lewistown.
Nov 17th Tuesday -I washed. Gib put straw on chicken house. Mildred came back. Ray came home. It snowed some from N. E.
Nov 18th Wednesday - I patched, sewed, and hung out clothes. Gib hauled more straw. I baked. Ray came.
Nov 19th Thursday -I ironed. Gib turned horses out.
Nov 20th Friday - cold wind 15 degrees below zero. I patched all day. The wind blew hard and it was awfully cold.
Nov 21st Saturday - 18 degrees below zero. Still cold, but not windy. Cleaned house. Made Gene's sheets.
Nov 22nd Sunday - Brother came. I started nigger doll.
Nov 23rd Monday - We washed. Swan, Ray, Mike and Vernon came. Gib went to help Ray get his car at Puckett's.
Nov 24th Tuesday - I made Gene's shirt. Brother came. Gib went to town. Jerry came.
Nov 25th Wednesday -I made pies, cake and buns for Thanksgiving dinner at church.
Nov 26th Thursday - Thanksgiving day. We went to church.
Nov 27th Friday - 21 degrees below zero in morning, 20 above at night. Cleaned house. Washed Gene's clothes. Gus came and we sang.
Nov 28th Saturday - I ironed. Baked cookies.
Nov 29th Sunday - Donald Myers came. Ray came. I worked on my nigger doll.
Nov 30th Monday - I patched. Gib went to Uncle Will's to get Nelson, but he was dead. Mildred came to stay all night. Gib went to Mike's. I started Gene's pants.
DECEMBER 1931
Dec 1st Tuesday - We did the washing. I sewed some. Mildred came back.
Dec 2nd Wednesday - I sewed, hung out clothes, fixed doll and baked a cake. Gib put half of the rubberoid on chicken house.
Dec 3rd Thursday-Gib finished chicken house. I ironed and sewed.
Dec 4th Friday - Gib scrubbed floor.
Dec 5th Saturday -
Dec 6th Sunday - Mildred went home. We went to Neill's.
Dec 7th Monday - Mildred went to see Puckett's. Gib went to town then helped Mildred get turkeys in. I made candy and cookies.
Dec 8th Tuesday - Gib and Puckett's helped Mildred pick turkeys. I cleaned house and patched. Gus came.
Dec 9th Wednesday-Mildred and Charlie took turkeys to town. Gib put screen on chicken house. Brother came. I sewed. Mike came.
Dec 10th Thursday - We washed. Mildred came back. Ray came home. Charlie came.
Dec 11th Friday -
Dec 12th Saturday -
Dec 13th Sunday - Uncle Will's, Gus, and Mrs. Noel came over. We popped corn, made candy and sang.
Dec 14th Monday - Gib went to town.
Dec 15th Tuesday -
Dec 16th Wednesday -
Dec 17th Thursday -Cleaned Gib's suit.
Dec 18th Friday - I made candy. Patched and fixed clothes. Gib went to town and got package.
Dec 19th Saturday-Gib went to Mr. Spikeman's funeral. Ray came.
Dec 20th Sunday - Don came. I made candy. We went to Myers's.
Dec 21st Monday - We washed. I made chocolates.
Dec 22nd Tuesday - Mike's and Ray's came to move garage. Mildred ironed and we canned apples and fixed Christmas boxes.
Dec 23rd Wednesday -

Dec 25th Friday - Had Christmas dinner with my folks in town.
